CHENNAI:  The monthly meet of the GRA (Geo Recruiters Association) was held on May 16 at the Andhra Chamber of Commerce. Anitha Vanavathi – Vice President – HR & CSR of Accel Frontline was the key speaker at the event. She spoke about how HR Professionals are Brand Ambassadors.

During her speech she highlighted the various areas in HR which could be the key factors in building the brand of an organization. Out of all the factors, the recruitment drives of an organisation form a major factor in building the brand of an organisation.  Thus recruiters perform the role of a sales person as he / she sells his / her organisation – explaining the culture, benefits, employee welfare schemes, etc.  If the recruiter has the capability to do a perfect sales role, the targeted resource could be hired. Employee referrals could also be one of the hiring strategies that add value.
