Lord never allows his true devotee to perish despite tribulations

CHENNAI: A bird in its egg, a child in the womb, a tree in a seed, they can never be compared to a full grown bird, man or tree. Having come into this world each one is in an intellectual or emotional womb. It is nothing compared to what will emerge from this womb. Lord Krishna shares with the devotee Arjuna the greatest of all secrets. At once taking him to the almost giddy but spectacular heights of knowledge and then dives with him into the serene depths of love revealing the wisdom.

Many gradual exercises in contemplation were given which takes one to the state of meditation. First was the relation-less relationship that the Lord has with the world and then the most intimate as one’s own self. Be like space and see all the thoughts like the wind moving in you. For they are in you, you are not in them. When you are uninvolved with your thoughts they cease and you recognise, neither I am in my thoughts and in reality the thoughts are also not in me. I alone am and therefore whatever appears I alone am all. The devotee who surrenders to the all encompassing truth and love in the words of  Bhagavan; “They are in me and I am not in them”.

To be receptive to the love of the ever forgiving Lord, only a leaf, a flower, a fruit or even a sprinkling of water with love is enough. Even the worst of sinners can be transformed into a saint when he or she firmly resolves to walk the path of truth and love. Bhagavan makes an open declaration: “Hey Kaunteya, know this for sure, my devotee shall never perish.”
