CHENNAI: Social Welfare Minister B Kuppusamy did not die during agitation: MinisterValarmathi on Thursday clarified that Kuppusamy, who accompanied a differently abled person, had not lost his life while the agitation of differently abled person was on.
Responding to the remark made by CPM member K Balabharathi in the State Assembly, the Minister said all those who were arrested including Kuppusamy were released by the police in the evening. Since Kuppusamy was already not well, he succumbed in the evening.
