CHENNAI: The executive committee meeting of the ruling AIADMK will be held on June 18 at party headquarters here. The meeting, being held after after the party retaining power in the May 16 Assembly elections, will discuss the election results and the measures to be taken to face the elections to local body elections likely to be held in October.
“The meeting will be held at 11 a.m., on June 18 and party’s presidium chairman E Madhusudanan will preside over the meeting. Invitations will be sent to all executive members and everyone should attend the meeting without fail”, AIADMK general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa said in a statement here.
The meeting of the executive committee was held on December 31 along with the general council meeting of the party at Tiruvanmiyur. The forthcoming meeting will ratify the decision taken during the past six months in the party.
