Getting a glimpse

SPACE Chennai conducted an observation camp at Edward Elliot’s Beach, Besant Nagar, to catch a glimpse of the partial solar eclipse. Students and eclipse chasers used professional cameras and instruments to photograph the eclipse and experiment during its transcending phases, a press release said. A participation of nearly 100 people, astronomers, students and parents of St John’s Public School, Medavakkam and the public took part in the observation. SPACE will  hold a lunar eclipse observation on March 23rd, which will be clearly visible in Chennai.
