Russian Univ Ties up with Indian Univs

CHENNAI: The Kazan State Medical University of  Russia on Wednesday announced a tie-up with the following institutions - Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Sri Ramachandra Medical University, JIPMER (Puducherry) and Apollo Hospitals in the city to improve joint research and faculty and student exchange between the two countries, .

Delegates from the Russian university, visiting Chennai, said Indian students are not familiar with the relevant treatment advised in India and clinical conditions here after returning from their education in Russia which makes practicing in India a challenge for them.

“The summer clinical training in India will allow Indian students of our institute get hands-on experience that will enrich their knowledge of diagnosing the ailments when practising in India,” said Dr. Alexey Stanislavovich Sozinov, Chancellor of Kazan State Medical University, at the Russian Culture Centre in the city.
