CHENNAI: Health Minister Dr C Vijaya Baskar on Wednesday told the State Assembly that dengue situation in the State was well under control.
Responding to an issue raised regarding the reported dengue deaths in Tiruvallur, the Minister said sanitary measures were being carried out on a war footing under the direct supervision of the Director of Health Services, in Tiruvallur.
Stating that he also had visited the district, Vijaya Baskar said of the 58 persons admitted in hospitals, only a few had suffered from dengue.
