CHENNAI: The Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA) will organise ‘ACMEE’, the 13th edition of international machine tools exhibition at the Trade Centre from Thursday to Sunday.
The exhibition will focus on the latest machine tools technology available in different parts of the world with special focus on energy-saving solutions, productivity improvement, robotics and industrial automation, according to a statement issued by AIEMA on Monday.
According to the statement, 480 companies from across 28 countries will take part in the exhibition to be inaugurated by Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation.
Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam will preside over the inauguration of the exhibition.
“The ACMEE 2018 will be the biggest in the ACMEE series of exhibitions in terms of the number of exhibitors, visitors and business generation,” said K Ayyappan, chairperson of ACMEE 2018 in the statement.
