To get their hands on valid currency notes, people are taking extreme measures each passing day, fed up with the long wait to get cash to meet their day-to-day requirements.
In one such case, a woman who got frustrated after standing in a long ATM queue stripped down in an act of protest. The gathered crowds watched the drama unfold until a lady constable, who was present nearby, came and told the woman to cover up. The constable then took the woman to Ghazipur police station.
Others who stood in the queue claimed the woman was a transgender. Later, after police inquiry, she was taken to another ATM where she finally got to withdraw her money.
