Delhi: BJP chief Manoj Tiwari to tie up with Radio channel to discuss city-based issues

The Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari is tying up with a city based Radio channel to discuss the everyday problems faced by the people of Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari is tying up with a city based Radio channel to discuss the everyday problems faced by the people of Delhi. The newly elected MCD councilors will be part of the ‘City Ka Darbaar’ initiative.

“Radio is a great medium to build a platform on for citizens I would be personally looking into the grievances of the people” Tiwari said in a statement. The radio campaign is aimed at the city together by giving citizens an easy access to the municipal councilors.  

The private Radio channel organisers said that150 wards will be covered during this three week long program , in which a people will share their complaints and problems related to the local areas which will be further forwarded to the party leaders. As per the organizers statement around 75 wards have already been scanned and more than 21,000 queries registered.

The queries and problems will be discussed live on the show daily in the evening, along with the Municipal Councilor of that area.  

The BJP has been ruling the MCD for the last 10 years. The three MCDs have 272 civic wards under the municipal corporations – North -104, South-104 and East-64.
