Delhi Police special cell busted an international drug racket and arrested a Myanmar national along with two others. The Cops have also recovered over 438 kilograms of Pseudoephedrine worth over rupees 50 Crores in the International. Accused has been identified as Sum Mang, Myanmar national, Sunil Goyal and Sumit Kumar.

“During information collection, it was revealed that one person namely Sumit is running one ‘Narcotics Drugs Pseudoephedrine cartel’ from Delhi to North-Eastern states for further supply to Myanmar to prepare methamphetamine or crystal meth (Ice) for rave parties,” DCP special cell Promod Singh Kushwah said. After conducting a raid, Delhi Police arrested Sumit and Sunil and on the basis of their information cops arrested Mang.

According to the police, these tablets can be taken orally and can even be smoked and its overdose can kill anyone. Pseudoephedrine, is illegally manufactured in various pharmaceutical companies situated in Uttarakhand and Himachal and brought to Delhi. From Delhi, smugglers sends it to Myanmar via the north-eastern states. From Myanmar smugglers send it to other country.
