Sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra submits evidence in corruption allegations at Lokayukta

According to Mishra the evidence in the documents are related to water tanker scam by the party of which Kejriwal was in the know of.

NEW DELHI: Sacked member of Aam Aadmi Party and former water minister Kapil Mishra on Thursday submitted evidence with the Lokayukta regarding corruption allegation and misappropriation of party funds at the behest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Mishra allegedly has handed over a set of around 16,000 pages worth of evidences to the agency regarding party fund, role of AAP’s national convener in alleged Hawala transactions and Benami property details about PWD minister Satyendra Jain to the court.

After his sacking from the Delhi cabinet, Mishra has levelled serious allegations against Jain and Kejriwal in the past and even given complaints to the anti –corruption branch. The former water minister had asked the AAP to put the details of the foreign trips undertaken by various AAP leaders like Sanjay Singh and Saurabh Bhardwaj.

According to Mishra the evidence in the documents are related to water tanker scam by the party of which Kejriwal was in the know of. The Lokayukta had asked Mishra to record his statement and the hearing on the matter will commence tomorrow, as the complaints regarding the matter have been submitted to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) as well the case is bound to take time.
