NEW DELHI: The Congress today accused the AAP and the BJP of being in collusion with each other in "dharna drama," vowing to expose the same through a door-to-door campaign.

"What could be a more evident example of a collusion between the AAP and the BJP than their respective dharnas? Could Kejriwal have continued his sit-in at LG office or the BJP leaders have managed to sit at the chief minister's office without this collusion," asked Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken.

He said his party would distribute pamphlets detailing this "collusion" at booth level to cover 13 lakh households all over Delhi.

He alleged both the BJP and the AAP were trying to divert people's attention from their "failures" in ruling Delhi government and municipal corporations respectively.

"The dharna-drama suited the BJP because municipal corporations ruled by them have failed to deliver and they needed to divert people's attention from insanitation, non-payment of pension to the elderly people and widows, the sealing drive and delayed salaries to civic workers," he charged.

Kejriwal government also needed to divert people's attention from its "dismal performance" in water and power supply and in education and health sectors, he alleged.

"The dharna drama was carried out in connivance with the Lt Governor as it suited both the AAP and the BJP," he asserted.

Maken said the pamphlet prepared by his party cites 11 instances of "collusion" between AAP and BJP.

The Anna Movement launched in 2011 was aimed at "targeting" the Congress Party, he said.

"The BJP and the RSS were behind it and Kejriwal through this movement targeted the Congress and its leaders and is responsible for bringing BJP to power at the Centre," he charged.
