NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be heading a meeting with officials from different departments in order to brainstorm ways to implement his ‘Ten guarantees’ on Wednesday.
It is also likely that the chief minister will hold a cabinet meeting with all of the ministers. Issues like potable piped water supply, education for every child, free bus ride scheme for different sections of society, improvement of healthcare facilities, safety of women and cleaning of Yamuna are included in the agenda of the meeting.
This would be the first meeting of Kejriwal with top officers of various departments of the Delhi government after taking the oath of office on Sunday.

Among Kejriwal’s guarantees — 200 units of free electricity and round the clock piped water supply are among the key issues. Kejriwal’s promise card had also promised world-class education facility for each child in Delhi and better health facilities for all.
Reducing air pollution is also a prominent promise made by Kejriwal. Free travel for students and senior citizens are also subjects that Kejriwal promised to provide during his assembly election campaign if elected to power again.
Kejriwal also promised to redesign congested roads, lay sewer pipelines, install CCTV and set-up Mohalla Clinics for unauthorised colonies. Aam Aadmi Party won the Delhi assembly elections with a thumping majority last week winning 62 out of 70 seats in the national capital.
