Soul aura landscape artist Neha Bisht has chronicled the many aspects of nature and drawn inspiration from the five elements—fire, water, earth, wind, aether, and alchemy—in her solo exhibition Meandering Brush.

Paintings, according to the artist, are “homes where the soul breathes, heals, empowers, and energises itself”. By means of oil, watercolour, ink and coffee on canvas, Bisht, for whom “art is the only companion that walked with me like a guiding light”, creates pieces by following the layering technique of oil painting and creating textures with a knife.

“I let the colours mix freely to create a misty abstraction in the landscape,” she shares. The exhibition, through which the artist attempts to “heal every soul and space with the empowering beauty of nature”, is currently ongoing at the India Habitat Centre, and will conclude tomorrow.
