Former minister P Shankar Rao is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. Sources said that the former minister would be undergoing treatment for three more days. Shankar Rao, who returned to the city on Tuesday from Shirdi, collapsed due to alleged ill-health in front of the Director General of Police’s (DGP) office while talking to mediamen.
Police is likely to question Rao after he is discharged from the hospital. Assistant commissioner of police of Alwal division G Ganesh Reddy said that there were no developments in Green Field case. “We will take up investigation into the case after the former minister recovers and is discharged from the hospital,” the ACP said.
