HYDERABAD: Mild tension prevailed for sometime at a sensitive place in the Old City on Sunday night when police objected to a procession taken out on the occasion of Rama Navami.
However, finally, police allowed the procession and the devotees calmed down.Following communal disputes in Sangareddy recently, police imposed strict restrictions on religious processions in the night.
Accordingly, they objected to a procession while it was returning to the Rama temple at Doodhbowli in Old City.
