HYDERABAD: The APSRTC plans to operate 6,126 special buses to meet the demands of summer holiday makers and the marriage season. The APSRTC Greater Hyderabad zone has planned nearly 6,126 special buses besides the regular buses to tackle the rush.

APSRTC Greater Hyderabad and Hyderabad executive director, A Koteswara Rao said Garuda air-conditioned, super-luxury and deluxe buses would be operated from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, Guntur, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Ongole, Nellore, Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur, Tirupati, Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad and Khammam, in April, May and June months.

He also said, passengers can reserve tickets at any reservation counter and ATM agents in the city. He said last year, during this period,  they had operated nearly 4,200 buses.
