HYDERABAD: The Prajapatham programme was conducted in as many as 1,329 gram panchayats and 1,249 wards in the last two days, Minister for I&PR D K Aruna informed.
In all, 38,126 works were inaugurated in the two days and till now, it was found that wage payments were made on time in 881 gram panchayats, she said.
Under ‘pavala vaddi’ scheme, `2541.17 lakh was distributed in rural areas and `2,622.22 lakh in urban areas. About `7,562.09 lakh was distributed to 2,17,215 farmers as input subsidy.
