3 new CBI courts to be inaugurated on Monday

HYDERABAD: The three new special courts to deal with CBI cases would be inaugurated on Monday. All the three courts which would be set up in the 12th and 13th floors of Gagan Vihar in Nampally would be inaugurated by High Court chief justice Madan B Lokur.

The first, second and third additional special judge courts would function from Gagan Vihar while the principal special judge court would function from the existing court hall at the Criminal Courts Complex, Nampally.

The ongoing trial of cases which are being investigated by the CBI would be distributed between the four courts, officials said adding that the new courts would speed up trial and disposal of cases.  There are more than 220 odd cases pending before the special CBI court.
