HYDERABAD: The answer sheets of physics paper of 386 Inter students from Nellore district were found missing and their results were withheld.

The Board officials came to know about the missing answer sheets when their results were withheld.

Based on complaints from students and after a preliminary inquiry, board officials said the sheets had been lost during transportation.

Speaking to Express, BIE secretary M Subramanyam said the postal department transports the answer sheets every year through speed post.

The postal department was assigned to take the answer sheets of all students at CAMHS College centre in Nellore to Vizianagaram, but the answer sheets of some 386 candidates did not reach the destination.

If the paper are not found, a re-exam will be held before May 10.
