HYDERABAD: Depot works and precast yard works of the Hyderabad Metro rail at Uppal depot on the Nagole-Mettuguda stretch are in full swing.

Reviewing the progress of Metro works at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi instructed the officials to constitute fast track approval committee for according stretch-wise permissions for Metro rail works on the roads and for coordinated traffic management.

GHMC officials were asked to speed up construction of  alternative roads.
