HYDERABAD: A history-sheeter from Macherla town and two others from the city were nabbed by police and their attempt to attack another person was foiled. The history-sheeter was allegedly instigated by an advocate to attack, police said.

According to police, the history-sheeter, Shaik Mohammed Jabbar alias Sk Jaber, is a client of an advocate in Vijayawada.

The advocate allegedly told Jabbar about his relative, Banni alias Charan, an MBBS final year student of NRI Medical College in Mangalagiri having love affair with a girl, who also happens to be a distant relative of the boy and staying in Malkajgiri.

As they were against the love affair, the advocate allegedly asked the historysheeter to threaten the girl’s family members and paid Rs 5,000 to the latter.

Later, the advocate asked Jabbar to attack the girl’s brother, S Prakash, and gave his photograph for identification. Jabbar took the help of G Vinay Kumar, a historysheeter of Jeedimetla police and U Sandeep, a historysheeter of Kacheguda to attack Prakash.

When the trio were on their way to attack Prakash, police nabbed them.

Cops are collecting info about the lawyer.
