De Thali, serves its guests authentic dishes from Rajasthan and Gujarat on a pre-laid Thali which accommodates sumptuous delicacies like welcome drinks, dals, kadhi, dry / wet sabzi, Gujarati and Rajasthani curries and sweets.
Hailing from the house of Ohri’s, De Thali offers a flexible seating mode for guests with a capacity to seat 72 in all. The décor of the restaurant seamlessly continues Ohri’s Jiva Imperia’s regal theme draped in white colour throughout.
The majestic feel of Rajasthan and Gujarat are predominating in the use of jharokhas (windows), the rustic aainas (mirrors), Jaalidhar partitions and traditional wooden chairs all set in pure white colour representing the royal era.
Guests are served by the staff dressed in the combination of elegant black and white formal suits and paagdis (turbans) against the backdrop of foot tapping music played in the restaurant, that attempts to render the essence of the native states, creating an enchanting experience.
The main course of bread includes variations including Phulka, Bajre ki roti, Makai ki roti, rotla, variations in thepla, Parathas, Kulchas and rice variations like Wadi pulao, Bajra khicidi and steamed rice, reminiscent of the land of camels and Marwari folk. The thali also offers tantalizing curries like Papad Mungori, parval doodhwala and Bikaneri sev tomato. The final course of deserts such as kesar jelabi, Gulab Halwa, Angoori Basundi, Badam bogh and others sum up the meal neatly.
