HYDERABAD: Notwithstanding incharge Vice-Chancellor Prof Amritavalli’s clarification, students of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) on Tuesday continued their protests against what they called, “the administration’s insensitivity and moral cowardice.” The protestors formed a human chain on the campus accusing the EFLU administration of refusing to own up responsibility for the alleged police action against them during the executive council meeting last Thursday. They had observed a university bandh on Friday and a black day on Monday. During their protest on Friday, the incharge vice-chancellor had promised to constitute a committee and reply to their demands by Monday evening.
But with no reply forthcoming, the students have planned a week-long protest till the administration comes forward with a “satisfactory” reply.
