HYDERABAD: A city hotel was raided and cases booked against the management for serving liquor after the stipulated timing. Punjagutta police inspector K Ashok Chakravarthy said, a raid was conducted around 12.15 a.m on Saturday at the Kismet nightclub in the Park Hotel in Somajiguda.

Police found that liquor was being served to guests even at that time.

“Liquor should be served only till 11 p.m and food till midnight,’’ he said adding the police seized the DJ system and registered a case against the manager, Feroze.

Cases under various sections of the IPC and Excise Act were booked against the management, police said. Meanwhile, sources said officials are likely to take disciplinary action against a police SI for informing his higher-ups that the pub was not functioning above the stipulated time.
