HYDERABAD: State Bank of India chief general manager Rakesh Sharma inaugurated a twoday seminar on business and finance, being organised by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, here on Friday.
Sharma presented a practitioner's of the challenges being faced by the Indian financial system and the banking system in particular. He delved into the origins of the current global banking and financial crisis, the fiscal of the European nations and its effect on the performance of the banks. IFHE vicechancellor J Mahendar Reddy presided over the inaugural session.
Delegates from IITs, IIMs and other nationallevel institutions are taking part in the seminar.
