HYDERABAD: A woman worker of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation committed suicide on Wednesday.
K Narsamma (60), a resident of Kishanbagh committed suicide setting herself on fire in her house at Konda Reddy Nagar. Narsamma used to work as a contract sweeper with GHMC. Three months back, she had quit her job due to bad health and began staying with her son Krishna, who is also working as a sweeper. After Krishna left for work on Wednesday, Narsamma doused herself with kerosene and set herself ablaze in the verandah of the house, police said.
