RTC buses to Medaram from twin cities

HYDERABAD:The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), for the first time, is making arrangements to operate special buses to Medaram village in Tadvai mandal in Warangal district for the famous Sammakka- Saralamma Jatara from twin cities between Feb 5 and 11. The APSRTC, in a press release, said there will be a Super Luxury or Express bus from twin cities to the jatara village every 30 minutes.

The services are proposed to operate from various places in the state capital including from Jagadgirigutta, Borabanda, Uppal crossroads and MGBS.

The Corporation authorities informed that RTC vehicles would be allowed near to jatara site in contrast to private vehicles which would be restricted 7 km away from the place.

The APSRTC is also gearing up to operate as many as 3,159 special buses to Medaram from 45 traffic generating points located in Adilabad, Nizambad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal districts
