HYDERABAD: It was an informative, fun-filled Sunday evening on January 22 when Jain Group of Institutions organized the first Alumni meet for its students in the city. The alumni were welcomed by Academic Director JGI, K Lakshmi Rao, also their founder Principal, who reminded them of all those incidents which were still very fresh in her memories and close to her heart.

The Key note speaker for the evening was Abdul Gaffar Sait, CEO - Basket options Pvt Ltd who shared his success mantra - “Initiative leads to visibility, visibility leads to credibility, credibility leads to profitability” - with the children.

COO JGI Chandrashekar DP said, “We believe in the new paradigm where service-learning is integral to the mission and practice of higher education. Therefore students are not empty vessels to be filled with knowledge but are active learners who build meaning through context. We see teaching and research not only as the domain of faculty, but also as the work of students as community partners.”

The alumni were overwhelmed with the atmosphere created especially for them by their teachers which invoked infinite nostalgic memories.
