HYDERABAD: Yet another two-wheeler parked in the premises of a house was set ablaze by unidentified persons in the sensitive Madannapet area in the wee hours of Friday. There have been a series of similar incidents reported from some parts of the city since the past few days. According to Madannapet police, a person, Sardar parked his two-wheeler inside his house at Mumtaz colony on Thursday night. Around 4 a.m today, he woke up to find out that his two-wheeler was burnt by miscreants.

The vehicle was partially burnt and police said miscreants used kerosene to set the vehicle on fire. Police claimed that the vehicle was burnt down due to personal rivalry and it is not communal in nature. A case was registered and investigation is on. Sources said the police picked up three persons who were allegedly involved in burning of vehicles parked in front of houses in Madanapet. The detained youth belong to the locality.
