157 AMVIs appointed

HYDERABAD: The government has appointed 157 assistant motor vehicle inspectors for effective enforcement and reaching the targets fixed by the government. The selected 157 AMVIs will be

HYDERABAD: The government has appointed 157 assistant motor vehicle inspectors for effective enforcement and reaching the targets fixed by the government.

The selected 157 AMVIs will be posted at check posts  near state borders. The process to fill 200 vacant posts of constables is in progress. According to sources, about 300 posts of assistant motor vehicle inspectors and 200 of constables are vacant. Shortage of staff is hampering work.
