HYDERABAD: The state government issued orders enhancing the rates of tax on entry of motor vehicles into local areas to 14.5 percent.
The new tax will be collected on the entry of following vehicles: Motor cars, taxi cabs, jeeps, motorcycles and scooters, motorettes, three-wheelers, tempos, five-wheelers and autorickshaws, omnibuses, vans, lorries, chassis of motor vehicles and other types of motor vehicles excluding tractors and power tillers.
