HYDERABAD: Applications are invited for direct PhD programme in social sciences and women’s studies offered by the Council for Social Development (CSD), Hyderabad for this academic year. Admissions are open to candidates with an M.Phil degree in any social sciences. The last date for submission of applications is April 8, according to a release by the CSD.
The CSD faculty are recognised guides of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and candidates selected for PhD programme will work under their supervision.
The Phd degree will be awarded by TISS, Mumbai.
The names of shortlisted candidates would be available on the websites of TISS and CSD on April 20 followed by a written test and personal interview between May 1 and 4.
