HYDERABAD: House-listing and Housing Census of Andhra Pradesh-2011 on Friday was released by the director of census operations for Andhra Pradesh, YV Anuradha. According to the census, half of the houses do not have toilets and 17 percent have bathrooms but not toilets.

While 63 percent houses have telephone facility, over half of the families in villages still use firewood ovens.

The total number of houses in the state is 2,10,24,534. Of these, 9.3 percent houses have radio and transistor, 58.8 percent have television. 21 percent have computer or laptop.

33 percent have telephone or mobile phone,13 percent have bicycle, 14 percent have two-wheelers, 15 percent car, jeep or van. And,16 percent of homes have no specified assets.
