The Task Force police on Thursday arrested as many as 22 persons for eve-teasing at various colleges in the city.
In a special drive the Task Force teams consisting of North, Central and West Zones conducted surprise raids at different places and apprehended the 22 eve-teasers at different places.
Nine persons were held at St. Francis Girls College in Gopalapuram police limits, eight near the Umesh Chandra statue in the limits of Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station and five at Himayatnagar in the Narayanaguda police limits. They were handed over to the respective police stations for taking legal action under Section 70C of the City Police Act.
