Hyderabad metropolitan water supply and Sewerage board managing director A Shyamala Rao on Thursday suspended two section managers _ Nagaraju (Autonagar) and M Shakeel (Sahebnagar) for negligence of duties.
During a surprise inspection Rao found no traces of chlorine in the drinking water supplied in those areas and found serious lapses on their functioning. Show-cause notices were also issued to general manager of Division-X (O&M) RVSS Raju and general manager (QAT) Narsappa.
