The High Court has directed the state chief secretary to order an inquiry by the state vigilance commissioner into allotment of two acres of land, which was earmarked for open space at the industrial park in Anantapur, to Techno Industrial Engineering, a material testing and designing-cum-servicing centre, by the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
“This is a classic example of abuse of power by officials of the corporation. A thorough investigation requires to be made in this regard”, the court remarked.
