A Chinese offender on the run, declared wanted offender by the Gujarat police, was detained at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport authorities here on Saturday when he arrived from Singapore. Based on particulars provided by the Gujarat police, the airport authorities caught Mao Wenge Chang (26) after going through the images on the Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV).
Source said that Chang had escaped to Singapore after committing offences in Gujarat a few years ago.
