Kenyan held for drug peddling

Task Force sleuths on Monday arrested a Kenyan in connection with supplying narcotic substances to youth, young entrepreneurs and high-salaried professionals. Five grams of Cocaine was seized from him.

Collins Johnson Ochieng Seddah (44), a resident of Yapral in Secunderabad belonging to Kisumu in Kenya, has been staying in India without a valid Visa. His Nigerian accomplice, Christopher, is absconding.

About 10 days back, Christopher had supplied him with Cocaine at Rs 2000 per gram, which he sold for Rs 5,000.

“While the accused was trying to sell cocaine to customers beside the fire station on SP Road, the West zone task force team apprehended him. Investigation is being carried out to unearth his network with other local and foreign drug dealers,” additional DCP, Task Force, P Rameshaiah said.

Seddah had come to India in 1988 for his undergraduation. He left for Kenya and returned to India quite a few times, landing in Hyderabad in 2003 to do a course in movie, TV direction and camera work.
