Dist-level Telugu meets from November 15

District-level conferences will be held in all the districts from November 15 to December 15 in preparation to the IVth World Telugu Conference to be held in Tirupati in December, said cultural advisor to government KV Ramanachary.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Ramanachary said district Telugu conferences will also be held in Kharagpur, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Ahmedabad and other places where Telugus are numerically strong.

He said around 1,000 foreign delegates and 2,000 delegates from within the country would attend the World Telugu Conference.

The first World Telugu conference was held in Hyderabad in 1975.
