I&PR Chief records DCP’s statement

Information and Public Relation (I&PR) commissioner R V Chandravadan, who is probing into the non-allowance of journalists to cover the Prime Minister’s programme at the CoP-11, on Monday recorded the statements of the T Yoganand, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Madhapur, and that of editors and journalists of various media houses.

The DCP reportedly told the I&PR commissioner that they deployed tight security  to prevent untoward incidents at the CoP-11. He also reportedly told Chandravadan that they were not given powers to issue entry passes to the media.
