Bird print, the latest version of the animal print, was first featured in the Spring 2012 collections of big names like Jill Stuart, Carolina Herrera and Marc by Marc Jacobs and gradually filtered down to mass production in early 2013. Anyone wondering if they’re outdated already should have their doubts dispelled by the spring/summer 2013 collections that have continued to use bird prints and animal motifs. However, incorporating something like bird print in Indian street wear seems like an act of courage. If you want to pull off this trend, team your bird print dress with neutral coloured pieces.
When experimenting with this style, make sure you don’t go overboard with prints. Incorporate at least one neutral colour in your attire.
