The death toll in the Vikarabad LPG blast reached eight on Tuesday when a 27-year-old housewife died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi General Hospital.

The death toll in the Vikarabad LPG blast reached eight on Tuesday when a 27-year-old housewife died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi General Hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Vijaya, a resident of Rajiv Gruhakalpa Residential Complex. Three houses in the complex were damaged in a high-intensity blast caused by domestic gas cylinder leak in a house belonging to one Chandrappa a few days ago.

Seven persons are undergoing treatment in the burns ward of Osmania and Gandhi General Hospitals in the city.
