Jagan's financial advisor Vijay Sai gets bail

The special CBI court on Tuesday granted bail to YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy’s financial advisor Vijay Sai Reddy, an  accused in the disproportionate assets case of the Kadapa MP.

The special CBI court on Tuesday granted bail to YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy’s financial advisor Vijay Sai Reddy, an  accused in the disproportionate assets case of the Kadapa MP.

The court granted the bail on `2 lakh personal bond and two sureties of equal sum. He was also told not to leave Hyderabad without court’s permission and not to influence anybody connected with the case.

The Hindu RE Case

The High Court on Tuesday stayed further proceedings in the criminal case filed against S Nagesh Kumar, resident editor of The Hindu newspaper.

President of the Police Officers Association alleged that a news item on the visit of ex-DGP V Dinesh Reddy to a religious leader in the old city was harmful to public peace. Nagesh Kumar was granted anticipatory bail by the High court earlier. ENS
