In view of Bakrid prayers, the city police have imposed the following traffic restrictions on Wednesday.
MIR ALAM TANK IDGAH: All vehicular traffic coming towards Idgah Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed via Puranapool, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh and Bahadurpura crossroad from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. However the general traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards Idgah Road and will be diverted at Bahadurpura X Road, either towards Kishanbagh or Kamatipura from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. All vehicular traffic from Shivrampally, NPA towards Idgah Mir Alam Tank will be allowed till 9.30 a.m. at Danamma Huts ‘T’ junction towards Aliabad via Ansari Road, Jahanuma Boys’ Town School from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Cycle-rickshaws and cycles will not be allowed towards the Idgah from the Idgah crossroads. Cycles and rickshaws should be parked at the open space where stands are provided. The traffic from Puranapool proceeding towards Siva Temple will be diverted towards City College till the congregation disperses from Idgah after prayers.
BALAMRAI IDGAH, SECUNDERABAD: The traffic from CTO will not be permitted towards Classic Garden Road, Idgah and will be diverted from Rajeev Gandhi Statue towards Le Royal Palace junction and Balamrai check-post from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
Similarly the vehicular traffic from Anna Nagar will not be allowed towards Classic Garden/Idgah and will be diverted to towards Balamrai Check-post and further from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
