HYDERABAD: With State government proposing to immerse Ganesh and Durga idols at Vinayaksagar in Indira Park on a permanent basis, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) started carrying out the survey of Indira Park.

A detailed report would be prepared shortly and the same would be submitted to the State government. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to hold an all-party meeting including MLAs from Greater Hyderabad on December 9 to discuss about various issues relating to Hyderabad.

Presidents of all political parties, floor leaders of all parties in Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council will be invited to the all party meeting. The meeting will discuss on cleaning of Hussainsagar, construction of Vinayaksagar and other issues relating to Hyderabad.

To protect the Hussainsagar from getting polluted further, chief minister is keen on shifting the idol immersion venue from Hussainsagar to Vinayaksagar.
