Work Pressure Drives Techie to Death

A 24-year-old IT professional was found hanging inside his room at Sainagar in Gachibowli on Monday evening. Police have not found any suicide note.

The deceased, V Rajasekhar Reddy, according to friends, took the extreme step due to work pressure. He worked as a software professional in Wipro Technologies.

The incident came to light when Rajasekhar’s did not respond to his brother’s calls, who then got in touch with the deceased’s roommate. However, when the roommate opened the door,  he found Rajasekhar hanging from the ceiling.

Police said Rajashekhar, a native of Narsampet in Guntur district, wanted to quit the job and prepare for competitive examinations.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a 35-year-old techie working in a private firm ended his life at a hostel in Ameerpet on Monday. Chadrashekhar who was staying in a hostel, was found hanging in the bathroom by his hostel mates. SR Nagar police said they are yet to ascertain the reason for his suicide.
