HYDERABAD: The Government of Telangana has declared the birth anniversary celebrations of former prime minister the late PV Narasimha Rao as a State function this year, Principal Secretary (Political) Ajay Misra said on Monday.
He reviewed arrangements being made for the 93rd birth anniversary of former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao, falling on June 28, at a coordination meeting at the Secretariat.
KV Ramanachary, Advisor to the Telangana Government, stressed the need to conduct the function in a befitting manner. He said Governor, Chief Minister, Ministers and other dignitaries will participate.
NV Subhash, Co-Chairman, PV Narasimha Rao Educational Research and Health Activities Charitable Trust, B Venkateswara Rao, Secretary, Endowments, MK Meena, District Collector, Hyderabad, Rahul Bojja, Special Commissioner, GHMC, NV Ramana Reddy, Special Secretary, GA (Protocol), and other officials were present.
