Over 3,000 Fined for Littering Railway Premises

The SCR apprehended 3,128 persons for littering, spitting etc on the railway station premises last month in all six of its divisions.

The SCR apprehended 3,128 persons for littering, spitting etc on the railway station premises last month in all six of its divisions. An amount of `6.3 lakh was realised towards penalty. During the said period, 3,128 persons ie, 258 persons in Secunderabad division, 1,451 persons in Vijayawada division, 1,028 persons in Guntakal division, 6 persons in Hyderabad division, 106 persons in Nanded division and 279 persons in Guntur division were detected and penalised for violating guidelines on maintaining cleanliness.
